Rania Elbaz, D.D.S., a pediatric dentist in Merrick, recently moved Merrick Pediatric Dentistry offices to a new location in Merrick. The new location is beach themed and child-friendly.

Merrick Pediatric Dentistry, currently located at 1469 Merrick Ave. in Merrick, will relocate in August to 1756A Merrick Ave. The new office will feature a large screen TV, an iPad station, toys, books, and a craft table for children to enjoy while waiting for their appointment. The office will be beach themed with the rooms named after local beaches to fulfill a fun atmosphere.
After living all over the world, Rania Elbaz, D.D.S moved to Merrick with her family when she was a teenager. She attended Barnard College to study Biology and Political Science. She then went on to graduate school for dentistry at Columbia’s College of Dental Medicine and later decided she wanted to bring her business back to Merrick. Dr. Elbaz used her childhood fear of the dentist to create Merrick Pediatric Dentistry in a way children wouldn’t have those fears.
“The purpose of Merrick Pediatric Dentistry is to provide state-of-the-art care in a clean and friendly environment where children look forward to visiting,” Dr. Elbaz says.
She believes in making a visit to the dentist comfortable and fun for children. Dr. Elbaz, a board-certified pediatric dentist, is the only dentist at Merrick Pediatric Dentistry. This ensures consistency for parents and children, as well as an opportunity for Dr. Elbaz to develop a friendly relationship with her patients.
