Divina Rodriguez and her husband Eddy started Dancing Hot Dogs as a forum to share their mutual passion for movies. Today, the site is a haven for a wide array of thoughtful reviews on technology, events, and products. If there is a service or product that needs reviewing, Mrs. Rodriguez and her team (which includes herself, Eddy, their sons Rock and X, beauty and lifestyle writer Rosa, and Gabor and Ava, the couple’s two “hot dog” pups) are willing and able to take on the task.
On the site you will find an extensive “Reviews” section—movie, TV, video game, DVD, concert, book, and app reviews are all covered here. Some of the reviews are also categorized as “For Dads,” which means that the product or service review includes reasons why dads specifically will enjoy them. There’s also a great “Giveaway Sweepstakes!” section, where Eddie, Divina and crew give their readers the chance to score products like DVDs and cosmetics by sending them an email or following them on social media sites like Twitter.
The site is currently expanding to include Dancing Hot Dogs Family, where the main focus will be on kid-friendly products and service reviews, but for now, there is still plenty to be gained for moms and dads from The Dancing Hot Dogs clan. —Kimberly Mollo
