NYMetroParents is proud to announce the 8 finalists in the 2015 Kids Cover Contest, who are set to be professionally photographed at PhotoOp NYC in late June.
More than 1,200 entries were submitted for NYMetroParents 2015 Kids Cover Contest, with parents from all of our regions sharing cute pictures of their children for a chance to win a coveted spot on our magazines’ cover as well as the grand prize, a $500 gift card from Pear Tree Greetings
Editors reviewed every entry and picked their favorites, as the official rules indicate, “based equally upon the criteria of personality, charm, and marketability as a child cover model, as conveyed by their photo.” All finalists win $25 gifts from Appaman, two New York CityPASS ticket books worth $114 each, plus inclusion in a future print issue.
Without further ado, here are the finalists of the 2015 Kids Cover Contest!
Fan Favorite Finalist Is:
The Fan Favorite, 3-year-old Veron, hails from Queens. He captured the Fan Favorite title when his mom shared his photo on Facebook and earned his entry more than 2,000 votes! Veron and his family have won a $250 gift from Pear Tree Greetings—congratulations!

Nicholas, age 6, also from Queens
Miley, age 3, from Westchester County
Loui Dean, age 4, from Brooklyn
Einstein, age 8, from Manhattan
Renee, age 8, from Nassau County, Long Island
Christopher, age 10, from Suffolk County, Long Island
Kennedy, age 4, from Bergen County, NJ
Once all pictures are in from the late-June professional photo shoot, editors and photographers will convene to choose a Grand Prize Winner—stay tuned!
