Children’s Therapy and Learning Center recently opened in Fairfield. The center offers therapies, including speech, physical, and occupational, educational services, including tutoring, Handwriting without Tears, and support, as well as interventions.

Stefanie Seanor, MBA, OTR/L, an occupational therapist, and Maybette Waldron, MS, CCC-SLP, a speech and language pathologist, have recently opened and co-own Children’s Therapy and Learning Center. It employs psychologists, tutors, and other support professionals to provide integrative and collaborative care to children of all ages.
The center offers age-appropriate interventions for infants and toddlers, young children, school-aged children, adolescents, and young adults, as well as specialized adult programming. The infant and young child wellness programs are targeted to enhance development for children who may have delays or are referred by their pediatrician. The young adult wellness programs focus on providing life skills and vocational training for recent high school graduates with special needs.
The therapy programs include occupational, speech, and language therapy; sensory processing; therapeutic massages; and social skills. The staff works with children in small groups, as well as with families to provide training so parents can adequately support their children at home.
The center’s educational services include handwriting classes using the Handwriting without Tears curriculum, academic tutoring, consulting, and extended-day services. The extended-day services are individually designed, back-to-back services that comprise of educational support, life skills training, and occupational, speech, and language therapies.
