Instead of piers, the new location will consist of three levels, including an open mezzanine on the top floor that will look down on the lower levels, allowing parents to check on their children from afar. Activities and fitness programs suitable for the whole family will be available at the complex. Erica Schietinger, vice president of corporate communications, says she is excited about the new location and hopes to build new relationships and a welcoming environment in Connecticut.

The center is more than fun and games—it also offers a day care and a preschool program for children ages 3 months-5 years old, as well as a summer camp. Children will be placed in age appropriate classes, taught by experts, which encourage sports and music enrichment. “If you have a child that is interested in sports, it’s best that they learn it from the beginning,” Schietinger says. A toddler gym, warm water lessons for children learning to swim, and birthday parties on the turf field will also be available at Chelsea Piers Connecticut
