Did anyone tell you that being a big sister is a big responsibility? This responsibility is one I have taken very seriously and embraced with nothing but grace. I had no idea what was coming after the baby magically popped out of Mommy’s belly. But after a lot of time, play sessions, and deep preschooler thoughts, I made it official and told Mommy we are going to keep my baby sister.
I love being a big sister —sometimes it is more fun than being a princess or playing with the puppy! I affectionately call my baby sister “little” and she calls me “eeee-a” (which means “big”) and we have become inseparable for almost six months now. Wow! That’s a long time when you’re only 3. Hey (and don’t say “hey is for horses,” Daddy), did you know that my baby is about to celebrate her half birthday? Yes! Time flies when you have a little sister.
In honor of the occasion, I made half of a top 10 list, let’s call it Fab Five (although I am not a Michigan fan), of great things about being a big sister–read all about it in the slideshow below!
