Bee-lieve it: Meet bees up close at Wave Hill

Bee there to Meet the Bees at Wave Hill on June 24.

Observe bee behavior in the gardens, then suit up in a hat and veil to peek inside a hive filled with 50,000 honeybees. Search for worker bees, drones, broods (baby bees), and maybe even catch a glimpse of the elusive queen. Horticultural Interpreter Charles Day leads this fascinating foray into the world of the honeybee. Appropriate for curious adults and kids ages 14 and older accompanied by an adult.
