Arts block party

Celebrate local arts on June 21.

This block party will be the inaugural event for the Kaufman Arts District, and will feature a variety of Queens-based artists, live music from Make Music New York musicians, food from local restaurants, an outdoor movie screening, poetry slam, and much more.

June 21, from 4 to 10 pm. Admission is $35, free for children under 12.

Kaufman Astoria Studios on the BackLot, (35th Avenue and 36th Street in Astoria, queenscouncilarts.org/qcablockparty/).
