Birthday Pick: A Perfect Party At The Playroom NYC

My birthday party at the Playroom NYC was beyond my wildest dreams! The Playroom NYC made my party possible after a blizzard blew through NYC on my birthday (what nerve!) but in the end, it was even bigger and better than I had imagined. I had a blast! From start to finish, everything was magical for my 4th birthday party!

I donned my party finest–a perfect party dress and diamond tiara headband–and was ready for action. My dress was my favorite color blue and adorned with matching sequins. And I wore my fur stole to go with the “Frozen” theme and also to keep me warm. The tiara headband was the perfect finishing touch. I was dressed to impress! This birthday princess was sparkling from head to toe and inside and out!

From the moment I arrived at the Playroom NYC for my 4th birthday party, I was treated like Arendelle royalty and knew it was going to be an enchanted evening. I loved that the whole play space was exclusively open for me and my favorite friends. We laughed and played and had a crazy, fun time exploring and tearing up the whole facility.

The excitement and activity was nonstop. Seriously, we didn’t miss a beat. We went from the indoor gym maze to the dress-up room to put on a performance on stage and then from the train tables to the grocery bodega. I also paused to play with my little sister and cruise around on the ride-on cars and also check out the baby play room where I even squeezed into a bouncy car seat to make her laugh. My whole crew had a fabulous time playing all night long! We sure know how to party.

And just when I thought my party could not get any better, Queen Elsa came to play with us! She came to personally greet me, the birthday girl. We made small talk about her trip from Arendelle to NYC, how to best wear your tiara and more royal birthday stuff. I introduced her to my friends but Elsa didn’t need any introduction. Everyone swarmed around to meet and greet her and get a photo opp. Elsa told us all about life since her movie and answered all our questions. I had to pinch myself to make sure it was real!

I then invited her back to my party room for some dinner and cake. My eyes glowed as I walked into the party room. The Playroom NYC had worked their magic again, transforming the space into a “Frozen” paradise. I admired my birthday photo cake featuring, Elsa, Anna, and moi! And with larger than life balloons, floor to ceiling Frozen banners and other décor, and more it made me want to build a birthday snowman. Instead, while we ate dinner, Elsa gave us dinner and a show by singing “Let It Go.” We were all mesmerized and singing along. And the icing on my birthday cake was when Elsa led everyone in “Happy Birthday” to me! I blew out all four candles on my “Frozen” cake and made a birthday wish. Although, after my Playroom NYC birthday, all my birthday wishes had already come true!

It was a perfectly festive and fun celebration…just like me!

Camp Lee Mar

A private 7 week residential summer program offering a unique curriculum incorporating a strong Academic and Speech program with traditional camp activities.
