We recently heard about a new non-profit doing great work in the lives of youth diagnosed with cancer–called "A Free Bird," the organization collaborates with working artists to provide opportunities for youth affected by cancer that allow them to explore their artistic passions, tell their story and live life to its fullest. — This weekend, A Free Bird is teaming up with fashion designer Sarah Jassir to give an 18-year-old aspiring makeup artist the chance to work backstage at Jassir’s debut of her spring Sarantina collection at The Setai Fifth Avenue in Manhattan. The teen will work one-on-one with professional makeup artists to create models’ looks and gain experience in the fashion world, and will be provided with professional makeup by Bobbi Brown.
