Our annual Kids Cover Contest is now open! Enter your child, ages 3-16, for a chance to see him or her on a cover of our magazines, and to win amazing prizes.
This year’s prizes include talent representation by Barbizon, as well as trips to Great Wolf Lodge for the Grand Prize Winner (chosen by our editors) and to Sesame Place for the Fan Favorite (winner of the public voting). And this year, for the first time, everyone who enters the contest gets a prize: A $250 partial scholarship to Barbizon, our contest’s sponsor.
How the Kids’ Cover Contest Works
1) Go to nymetroparents.com/cover and follow the instructions there to upload a photo of your child and enter the contest. You can also get there by going to our Facebook page, facebook.com/nymetroparents and clicking the Kids Cover Contest tab.
2) After you’ve entered, ask your friends and family to vote for your cutie. You’ll get a direct link to your child’s voting space when you enter, or anyone can go to the links above, find your child, and vote.
Finalists & Winners
There are eight finalists in all: We, the editors of NYMetroParents, will choose seven of them, and the eighth is the Fan Favorite, who is the winner of the voting. All eight will participate in a professional photo shoot and have a chance at getting their photo on a magazine cover, among other prizes. The Grand Prize winner will be guaranteed to be a cover girl/boy!
