AM Lego Robotics + PM Game Design Vacation Days at Robofun

Expose your children to the basics of engineering and electronics building at Robofun’s AM Lego Robotics + PM Game Design Camp this February break. Kids in grades 1-6 are invited to design, create, and program their own Lego robots! Kids Week 2015 at the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum

Budding scientists and engineers will love the Intrepid Sea, Air, & Space Museum’s annual Kids Week, focused on the theme of FLIGHT. With six days of activities and workshops on topics like how to grow food in space, building a telescope, and live birds of prey in addition to planetarium presentations, Tour Guide Talks, live shows and visiting children’s authors, there’s something for every young explorer! Vacation Art Week Workshops at the Jewish Museum

Drop by The Jewish Museum to partake in their Vacation Art Workshops for children 4 and up. Kids will be inspired by Helena’s Rubinstein’s “Beauty is Power” and construct a miniature diorama of a room using hand-crafted materials and an array of art supplies. Carla Hall’s Culinary Kids Food Week at the New York Botanical Garden

Carla Hall, a host on the popular television show “The Chew,” and the NYBG present week of hands-on cooking demonstrations, workshops, and even a special appearance by Carla on Monday! Special guests such as Kate Gardner, George Edwards, and Stacey Antine will also drop in to share their cooking expertise with the audience! February Vacation Week at the New-York Historical Society

Come celebrate Presidents Day and the Lunar New Year at the New-York Historical Society! Explore the museum during a Presidents Day scavenger hunt and create silly portraits of America’s founding fathers and mothers. In celebration of the Lunar New Year, there will be a special storytelling session, dance performances, and lessons in the art of Chinese paper cutting. NYC Parks Kids Week

This vacation, spend some time outside as parks across the city celebrate Kids Week. Children will enjoy activities led by the Urban Rangers, which will allow them to experience nature in fun, hands-on environment. Participating parks include: Central Park and Inwood Hill Park in Manhattan; Crotona Park, Pelham Bay Park, and Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx; Alley Pond Park, Forest Park, and Fort Totten Park in Queens; Marine Park in Brooklyn; and Blue Heron Park in Staten Island. February Fun Camp at Asphalt Green

Asphalt Green will be hosting their February Fun Camp for children ages 4-12 (divided by age group) this February break. Campers will be able to participate in activities such as martial arts, swimming, yoga, gymnastics, art, music, and more! Multi-Sport School Break Camp at Chelsea Piers

Children between the ages of 5 and 12 can spend their Presidents’ Week playing a variety of sports at the Multi-Sport School Break Camp at Chelsea Piers. The Midwinter Break Camp at the Guggenheim

Children ages 8-11 are invited to spend their breaks exploring their creative sides at the Guggenheim’s Midwinter Break Camp. They will learn a variety of art techniques from professional artists and view a number of collections and exhibits on display in the museum. Innovation Camp: Fab Food Lab at the New York Hall of Science

Learn the importance of food science during the New York Hall of Science’s multi-day Innovativion Camp. Children in grades 1-2 will get the opportunity to explore themes in chemistry and engineering as they relate to food production and packaging. Campers will also be able to engage in interactive activities such as making ice cream and creating their own recipes.
