Welcome to the very first Tweet Beat of 2013! I was on vacation for the last Mondays of 2012 and the first Monday of 2013, so I am saying hi to you for the first time in a few weeks, and gosh darn it feels good to be back on schedule! The holidays are lovely but they breed a certain kind of chaos, and I’m a creature of habit and routine, so I’m secretly very glad to be back to business as usual. Since we haven’t seen each other in what feels like forever, this is an extra long Tweet Beat — the focus is, predictably, the end of 2012, the beginning of 2013, resolutions, goals, and perspective. Happy New Year, everyone! I can tell this year is going to be great.
