New in Rego Park, PlayWorks NYC provides pediatric care, including physical, occupational, speech and language therapies, to children with special needs.
September saw the opening of a brand new facility for children with special needs in Rego Park, where parents can bring their kids for physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech and
language therapy.
Run by licensed therapists, PlayWorks NYC provides kids with a “professional, nurturing environment,” according to co-owner Angel Chin. It is a pediatric therapeutic facility that works with children of all ages, from infants to teenagers. With a focus on sensory integration, PlayWorks is geared for children of all needs and abilities.
In addition to providing services for children, Playworks offers a range of services to parents, including consultations, family support groups, and comprehensive assessments. Playworks contracts with the Department of Education and Early Intervention agencies, and also accepts private payments.
