The family-friendly film stars Guich Kooch as the voice of Trooper the bloodhound, the film’s wise, Texas-accented narrator and main character.

Trooper, along with a chihuahua, Dash, are adopted by the new kid in town, Tommy (Joey Roberts), and the trio go off with magnifying glass in hand in search of a valuable treasure rumored to have been hidden by an eccentric collector. Along the way, many funny and suspenseful moments are unleashed as they save the town’s beloved bookstore from destroction by the evil plotting of the greedy mayor. This dog and child actor have such chemistry, we wondered if they would team up again for another tail, er, tale?

Center for Architecture Summer Programs

The Center for Architecture promotes public understanding and appreciation of architecture and design through educational programs for K-12 students and teachers, families, and the general public. Summer Programs give curious kids an opportunity to dive into an architectural topic of interest and test out their own design ideas. Each program explores a different theme through art and building activities, design challenges, guided investigations of architectural examples, and special site visits. Summer Programs are week-long classes, Monday &ndash; Friday, for students entering grades 3-5, 6-8, or 9-12 in Fall 2023. This summer, we are offering programs both in-person at the Center for Architecture and online.
