Have you started preparing for your Thanksgiving feast? Are you thinking about the deLysscious Thanksgiving menu? I love the month of November, as my family gets together, and we unplug and give thanks. I hear there will be a few new, spectacular Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade floats, but I know my 4-year-old daughter is going to love watching the return of Nickelodeon characters Shimmer and Shine. Can you believe this will be the 92nd year of this annual parade?
The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade takes place in Manhattan from 9 am – noon. There are 2.5 miles of public viewing; visit Macys.com for parade route or watch the live telecast on NBC.

If you are like me, and always have a dry cough and are constantly on the hunt for a remedy, I want to introduce you to my new, Upper East Side fabULyss find, SaltHaus Modern Salt Rooms, which provide halotherapy, a “100-percent natural treatment” that “strengthens your immunity, boosts athletic recovery, and reduces stress and anxiety,” according to its website.
The dry, salty air transports you to a relaxing and rejuvenating day at the beach, while you’re still on the Upper East Side. It is now an absolute favorite of mine. According to the SaltHaus site, natural salt caves have been used in Eastern Europe for more than 150 years. SaltHaus’ halo rooms circulate dry, salty air to recreate the microclimate of a salt cave. Also, be sure to inquire about how this can benefit children, teens and tweens.
Take a moment to recharge your body and mind. I call this experience “Mommy Time-out”! I have been going once a week for my lower back pain, and after I leave each 45-minute session, my back feels a bit lighter.
SaltHaus Modern Salt Rooms [1220 Lexington Ave. between E. 82nd and E. 83rd streets on the Upper East Side, (646) 692–8286, www.salthausny.com].

For little divas and dudes, check out the JujuBean Clothing company, started in 2015 — the minute that the owners’ daughter was born. The baby had given the new parents insight and joy that they never thought possible.
As new parents, they started this business together to share their love of clothing and dressing their daughter. They have always been in love with a good deal, so they decided to create a shop online to collect and share all the clothes that they love, and keep them at a bargain price for others.
They plan to use a portion of the proceeds from sales to create new ways to educate children in Taiwan and the U.S. I want to buy everything on the site for my daughter and niece, because the fabULyss styles are so much fun! I love dressing little fashionistas and helping them develop their own sense of style.
Visit the www.jujubeanclothing.com.
Have a #fabULyss Thanksgiving, and make sure to get off the screens and give thanks to your family and friends.
