Introducing Epic Universe

Universal is now preparing to take thrills to new heights with its most exciting project yet: Epic Universe. Expected to debut in 2025, this state-of-the-art theme park will unveil five amazing lands featuring innovative rides and interactive worlds to ignite families’ imaginations. 

Universal’s Epic Universe, set to open on May 22, 2025, introduces five uniquely themed lands. These lands are designed to fully immerse families in worlds featuring unique characters, rides, dining experiences, and more.

5 New Unique Worlds

Celestial Park

Celestial Park is the heart of Epic Universe, featuring vibrant gardens, shining waterways, and a sense of cosmic awe. This gateway to the four worlds has tons of fun, such as the Starfall Racers, a dual-launch coaster reaching 62 mph. Celestial Park also offers more exciting attractions and many delicious dining options, including Moonship Chocolates & Celestial Sweets, where you can find delicious desserts. 

Super Nintendo World

This world has become a viral sensation as it transports visitors into the popular video game console. Super Nintendo World is extremely interactive and allows guests to interact with their favorite characters, including Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Donkey Kong, and more! With different themed rides and eateries, this highly anticipated world is sure to impress children of all ages. 

How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk

Soar into the Isle of Berk where you can enjoy the company of vikings and fire breathing dragons. Families can meet “Toothless” from the popular movie franchise, How to Train Your Dragon, and fly on thrilling coasters. Other highlights from this world include expansive themed dining and shopping options. 

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic

Universal Studios is currently home to two magical Harry Potter worlds, Diagon Alley and  Hogsmeade. Universal is upping the magic and introducing another wizarding world, the Ministry of Magic. Families are invited to enter the enchanting world of 1920s Paris, inspired by the Fantastic Beasts films and the British Ministry of Magic. This incredible land is bursting with spellbinding attractions, magical dining experiences, rides, and shops overflowing with wonderful wizarding treasures of all kinds. 

Dark Universe

Dark Universe is a world like no other. Dark Universe combines classic monster tales with modern storytelling and advanced technology. In the village of “Darkmoor”, visitors can meet their favorite monsters, dine in various themed restaurants, experience thrilling rides, and more. A highly anticipated attraction of this world is “Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment”, described as a state-of-the-art, intense ride where guests will steer clear of various monsters.
