Celebrate the US Military all over the city this weekend! On Monday, choose between a meet and greet with the military at Children’s Museum of Manhattan (CMOM) and a chat with sailors and marines at the Bronx Zoo. Or, catch a Memorial Day Parade–what better outdoor activity to share with your child? The kids will enjoy the pomp and music, the veterans will appreciate their support, and if you’re feeling ambitious, you can even squeeze in a lesson about the significance of it all. The Manhattan parade begins at noon at Broadway and Dyckman in Inwood, but chances are there is a local parade wherever you are this weekend.
