Embassy Suites Honors All Star Parents

ESH_All-Star Parent Profiles_without logo (1)Calling all hard-working parents, it’s finally your time to be recognized!

Its back-to-school season and the kids are not the only one busy, so are the parents, especially for those whose kids participate in school and community sports leagues. A recent study on sports travel from Hilton Worldwide’s Embassy Suites Hotels showed that on average each sports season, parent respondents traveled a total of more than 1,000 miles to their kids’ away games and spent more than $1,400. In a response to this survey, the all-suites, upper scale hotel chain has launched a campaign dedicated just entirely for devoted parents!

“We recognize that kids’ fall sports schedules can cut into both budgets and weekend time for devoted parents, and we want to honor them this season by asking family friends and other parents to nominate who they consider ‘All-Star Parents’,” says John Rogers, global head of Embassy Suites Hotels. “Embassy Suites’ standard amenities, such as our free made-to-order breakfast, spacious two-room suites and complimentary Evening Reception, ensure every member of the family—and the team—has what they need for a successful weekend on the road.”

Brooke Burke-Charvet Co-Hosts Pretty Great Family Debate With Embassy Suites Hotels In NYCThe campaign is established for parents to be acknowledged for all their hard work and sacrifices for their kids. It consists of an All-Star Parents Facebook competition where every Wednesday from September 10 through October 7, a parent who has been nominated by family and friends will be selected by Embassy Suites Hotels as an All-Star parent weekly winner. The one who embodies one of the three All- Star Parent profiles—The Road Tripper, The Unofficial Official, and The Mommy/Daddy Poppins—will get an opportunity to win exciting prizes. But that’s not all! Out of the four winning All-Star parents, only one will get a chance to win a grand prize- a VIP trip for two at an Embassy Suites anywhere across the United States. As a bonus, the travel team they cheer for will also get a win for a complimentary stay at an Embassy Suites for a future trip.

Apart from its exciting contest, the campaign will also allow parents to share an online conversation with Hollywood mom, Brooke Burke-Charvet, through Twitter where she will share her tips on how she manages a smooth sports travel weekend. “Jumping in the car to head to a kids’ tournament weekend after a busy work week can be taxing,” said Burke-Charvet. “Staying at a hotel that keeps your needs and your kids’ needs top-of-mind is absolutely essential.” Those interested in getting in the conversation with her can join Burke-Charvet (@brookeburke) for an hour on September 18 at 8 pm.
