“I didn’t want to go to five different stores for two products I needed,” said the 28-year-old entrepreneur. With that, Miranda was inspired to create ELM Baby, an all-in-one online shop with the full array of necessities from maternity to motherhood, plus some items for dad, too!

Miranda conceived of the idea to offer a top-quality co-sleeper when she had a scare with her own son (whose initials she used to name the online shop). Utterly exhausted from the demands that come with being a new parent, Miranda dozed off in her bed one night while holding her son without even realizing it. Though she awoke just in time, she realized that parents needed a product that would help prevent a terrifying moment like that.
