The Bronxville location of Sylvan Learning Center is offering a special back-to-school program for middle and high school students to learn study and time management skills for the upcoming school year.

The Sylvan Learning Center in Bronxville will begin offering a special back-to-school study skills program this month. The program, a two-month long promotion, is designed to help students gain and develop the study strategies they need for the upcoming school year by focusing on time management, strategic planning, and organizational habits, as well as planning and performance management.
The Sylvan Advanced Study Skills program aims to equip middle and high school students with the skills they need to be successful in their current grade level as well as in higher grade levels. Before heading back to school, students will learn how to effectively manage their time, plan long-term projects, prioritize their schoolwork, and set up an academic planner.
The newly designed Sylvan Advanced Study Skills program uses iPads at the center to connect state certified teachers with students. “One of the biggest innovations that goes along with The Sylvan Advanced Study Skills is the use of iPads,” says Steve Huff, ower of the Bronxville location. “The iPad technology has really become a core of how we deliver our basic instruction in reading and math and now study skills. The kids are finding that really engaging.”
The back-to-school promotion runs from Aug. 1 through the end of September. Each student receives eight, 1-hour sessions over the course of four weeks for $199.
