Pine Street School: Pine Street School offers a Montessori-infused International Baccalaureate education for preschool through 8th grade, currently enrolling students from ages 2 through grade 3. In 2016 they will add grades 4 and 6, and will have the full compliment of grades by 2019. They are Lower Manhattan’s first International Baccalaureate candidate school for preschool, elementary and middle school students. Queens County Farm Museum

Queens County Farm Museum: The Queens County Farm Museum dates back to 1697 and occupies New York City’s largest remaining tract of undisturbed farmland. The farm encompasses a 47-acre parcel that is the longest continuously farmed site in New York State. The site includes historic farm buildings, a greenhouse complex, livestock, farm vehicles and implements, planting fields, an orchard, and an herb garden.
