Come sing, dance, and play along to the catchy music of apple seeds! This Sunday, December 16 at 11:00am, apple seeds will host their songs for seeds concert at the Upper West Side’s Stage 72 Theater. The live hour-long show will feature the original songs of children’s musician Mr. Ray, some popular kid-friendly tunes, top 40 hits, and of course, holiday favorites.
The critically acclaimed songs for seeds music program was named “Best Music Class 2010” by New York Magazine, and rightly so. During each class, children have the opportunity to try guitars, keyboards, drums, and other unique instruments from across the globe. In addition to music, children explore new countries and cultures through visual art and nursery rhymes; magic tricks that facilitate counting; and an animal wheel that teaches names and sounds.
Great for children from newborn to five years, this highly interactive concert promises a fun, stimulating, and educational experience. All children at the concert will leave with their very own songs for seeds CD, and one lucky family will receive a free year-long membership to apple seed’s new Upper West Side recreation center.
$15 adults, $10 children 3 and above. For tickets, please call (212) 362-2590 or click here.
