One of the discussions I happen upon all the time among parents is how to choose a double stroller. For twins. For two children of different ages. For nannies who care for children of multiple families. “Which one is the best choice?” I’m often asked. And there is no easy answer. But…there is hope! I recently learned about a double umbrella stroller with stadium seating. That means that the second child sits in the back but is raised enough to see over the child in the front. And here is the best part I just can’t stop thinking about: it folds up small enough to fit through a subway turnstile. Even the ones at unattended stations. That’s impressive. The Kinderwagon was developed by a family with multiples who knows what they are doing. It’s fairly lightweight at 21.5 pounds and the rear seat has a 3-position recline and is suitable from birth to 40 pounds. The front seat will work from 6 months to 40 pounds. Plus, it’s only $300– now that’s just practical.
