Fertility (or lack thereof) is an issue that affects many women trying to conceive a child–yet it can sometimes be an issue shrouded in secrecy. One notable mother–who conceived twins at age 42 via IVF–and is adamant about sharing her struggles with fertility and the lessons of her journey to motherhood is CNN correspondent Kyra Phillips.
Now, Phillips is sharing her findings in her new book, The Whole Life Fertility Plan, which she wrote along with Dr. Jamie Grifo, director of the NYU Fertility Center in New York. The aim of the book is to help women understand the process of getting medical assistance with her fertility issues, as well as to help them understand what affects fertility so that they can better control the conception process.
Recently, our friends at FitBump chatted with Phillips about her story, the motivation behind the book, and how making healthy daily choices can play a major role in pregnancy success.
