Visions of sugarplums dance on the stage in this production of “Excerpts from the Nutcracker” at the Kumble Theater at Long Island University on

Ballet students at the Cobble Hill Ballet Dance studio delight the audience and perform selections featuring the “Land of Snow,” Clara’s Journey to the “Land of Sweets” and the well-known “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy.”
“Excerpts from the Nutcracker” on Dec. 13 and Dec. 14; two shows each day at 1 and 4 pm.
Tickets are $15, $10 for children and free for children under 3.
