Weekly Web-Roundup: Preferential Treatment, 14-Year-Old Landlord, iPhone Withdrawal

Over at Babble, meet Megan: The mom who worries what people might think if she unfairly represents one of her kids over the other on Facebook and Instagram.

What was wrong with me? What was wrong with me was that a woman’s Facebook photo albums recently came into play as evidence in a murder investigation. More specifically, the fact that she had a predominance of photos of one of her children over her two others.

Under a grid of Instagram shots, she writes, “7 of baby girl. 3 total of big brothers. Uh oh?”

This week, Huffington Post’s Lisa Belkin looked at various instances of teens putting their lives at risk to save their iPhones. But should we really be surprised, considering teens put in situations without their phones have experienced withdrawal symptoms? (Let’s be honest… we’d probably react pretty similarly.)
