The Kaleidoscope Ensemble, the New York Philharmonic’s teaching artists group, will present a new production, titled “The Land of Musical Opposites,” this Saturday. A retelling of Shakespeare’s "A Midsummer Night’s Dream," this production features the music of Felix Mendelssohn and others to showcase how melody can form and reshape characters and story lines.
