230 Fifth Rooftop’s Igloos are a must-do for family fun this winter season. We ascended to the rooftop and were mesmerized by the village of igloos and clear city views. Our little ones couldn’t wait to unzip the magic and step inside their own personal igloo.
The igloos are heated and transparent to allow for spectacular views of the city while keeping toasty on a cold, wintry day. They can accommodate up to twelve guests at a time so you can bring your favorite friends to share the memorable experience. Kids will love the cool idea (pun intended) of eating brunch, sipping cocoa, and playing inside an igloo, and adults will relish the holiday family bonding time and boozy hot chocolates for mom and dad.
The brunch buffet is ideal for families. It has everything from French toast, waffles and pancakes, to make your own pasta stations, omelet stations, and hot dogs. Plus, there are desserts and fruit. There’s something yummy in your tummy for everyone in the family. We ate, drank and were merry all inside of our own exclusive igloo!

There are currently seventeen igloos available and more will be added. There are different packages for purchase And we hear that if you are waiting for an igloo to open up, you can wear a complimentary red robe to keep you warm. The kids kept warm outside running around the igloos and humming the Nutcracker music while identifying their favorite skyscrapers like the Empire State Building. It was a wonderful winter wonderland and magical memory.
You’ll have the coolest kid at school when they tell everyone that they ate and played inside a heated igloo with spectacular views of New York City. And you’ll get some serious street cred, too. The igloos are available November through May and more info can be found at 230-fifth.com/igloo-bar.
