On Monday, the Museum of the City of New York was abuzz with its annual Children’s Holiday Party to benefit the Museum’s Frederick A.O. Schwarz Children’s Center, which funds social studies programs for local students and teachers. A tradition for more than forty years, the afternoon was full of merrymaking with nonstop entertainment, kids’ activities, and festive food.
Santa was the man of the hour at the Upper East Side family soiree as over 350 guests enjoyed carnival games and performances by The Brearley B-Naturals, Moey’s Music Party, Magic Al, Mike the Ballooniac, and Sammie and Tudie. Kids took part in cookie decorating with Eleni’s New York; playtime with Let’s Dress Up!; arts & crafts with Loop of the Loom, Scribble Press, and The Art Studio NY; drawing with Chet the Architect; and face painting with Faces by Derrick.
The holiday celebration was sponsored by Milly Minis and came together thanks to the hard work of Co-Chairs Paige Hardy, Jill Ross, Michelle Smith, and Yliana Yepez.
If you missed the party this year, you can still take part in a Charity Buzz auction that will run from December 20 through January 16, 2013.
