Looking for an exciting activity to do this Mother’s Day? Digital Photo Academy is hosting a very special Mother’s Day Workshop in Soho on Sunday, May 8th. Mothers and their children should meet at Baked by Melissa where there will be two workshops that they have the option of participating in. Attendees will be given individual instruction on how to take great portraits of each other as well direction on how to capture the great personality of Soho and its architecture through photographs. —They will then traverse the streets of Soho practicing their new art. This course, great for parent/child bonding, will be led by Digital Photo Academy’s photographer Rick Gerrity who is well known for his work with portraits. The course includes a complimentary portrait taken by Gerrity as well as a tasty cupcake at Baked by Melissa after the course. The first workshop will be at 10am-1pm while the second one will take place from 2pm-5pm.
