Creatures of Comfort, a groovy new concept store from Los Angeles that opened this Fall in Nolita, is filled to their voluminous rafters with avant garde fashions and accessories by designers such as Rick Owens, MM6, United Bamboo, Christian Wijnants and Zero. —But a store-standout is their own Creatures of Comfort line with its slouchy and relaxed pieces (our personal favorite: an A-line stripy skirt in flannel) and the bright and inspiring space itself which houses frocks for both men and women and begs you to slow your city pace, put down your bag and push your style’s comfort zone an outfit or two.
