What’s new with Classic Kids?

We are launching a remodeled website at our old site, classickids.com. It better describes what really makes us stand apart from the crowd.

Tell us about your background at Classic Kids.

I joined the company in 2005 and started as an assistant, worked myself into being a head photographer! I’ve been a professional photographer for 15 years but it took this company to really highlight my passion for portraiture! Classic Kids’ photographers and assistants are truly kid specialists. We know how to get smiles, abstract art, beauty shots, perfect smiles all without making them sit still, say “cheese” or “smile.” The sessions are really playdates with myself as the photographer, and an amazing “monkey wrangler” assistant to bring out the very best. It’s not a secret around town that we are the gold standard for family portraiture.

Tell us about the Classic Kids studios.

Each of the studios has a head photographer who is in charge of their location. That way we all have the ability to work within our community effectively and consciously. We partner with many charities and auctions to give back to the families that make us so happy.

We are undergoing a studio renovation the last week of April and will have a grand-reveal party on May 10with free sittings, cocktails, treats, and a raffle — for those who call ahead to reserve their time slot! It’s going to be a great way to re-introduce our brand, our new website, our new blog: classickidsmanhattan.wordpress.com and our beautifully new renovated space!
