“Wonders of the Arctic”
American Museum of Natural History
Ever been to a place covered in ice? Learn the story of survival in an uninhabited landscape during the American Museum of Natural History’s film “Wonders of the Arctic.” Award-winning filmmaker David Lickley will take audiences on a journey across one of the most beautiful places through compelling stories told by scientists and Inuit leaders. You will explore how humans and animals have adapted and thrived for thousands of years in the vast ice wilderness of the Arctic. “Mission to Space”

This new exhibition at the Children’s Museum of the Arts explores the mysteries of outer space and how it continues to challenge our imaginations. The exhibition will feature paintings, sculptures, photographs, installations, sound, and video work by eight artists, who have been examining the galaxy and our relationship to it. “Take Me (I’m Yours)”

Own a piece of this groundbreaking exhibit! The Jewish Museum will present “Take Me (I’m Yours),” a daring interactive exhibition that encourages visitors to touch, engage in, and even take home works by more than 40 internationally acclaimed artists. Conceived by Hans Ulrich Obrist and Christian Boltanski in 1995, this exhibit marks its first US presentation and the first time that these works have been shown in a collecting institution. “Sour, Sweet, Bitter, Spicy: Stories of Chinese Food and Identity in America”

In the Museum of Chinese in America’s new exhibit, “Sour, Sweet, Bitter, Spicy,” visitors can learn about the meaning of Chinese food, and explore how food can be a cultural form of expression and identity, influenced by life experiences and geographical backgrounds. “Holiday Express: Toys and Trains from the Jerni Collection”

“Holiday Express” at the New-York Historical Society will exhibit the Jerni Collection of model trains and toys to the public. The School at the Mark Morris Dance Center

<p><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial;" data-sheets-value="{" data-sheets-userformat="{">The School at the Mark Morris Dance Center offers year-round, community-based dance and music programming in a fully inclusive and nurturing environment, located in the heart of the Brooklyn Cultural District. The School’s diverse and professional faculty provides progressive and non-competitive instruction with all of our classes accompanied by live music. Though we are a non-recital school, there are opportunities for students to perform and for parents to see their dancers in action.</span></p>

Aviator Sports Summer Day Camp

<p>Aviator Sports Summer Day Camp offers five daily rotating activities such as swimming, ice skating gymnastics, rock climbing, parkour, indoor/outdoor turf, and courts plus more in its ample 175,000 sq. ft. facility and 35-acre outdoor area. Aviator Summer Camp also offers off-site and on-site field trips such as a day at Green Meadows Farm, Launch Trampoline Park, and a Brooklyn Cyclones game. The summer camp runs from 9 am-5 pm with early drop off and late stay available. Bus transportation is also available throughout Brooklyn. Lunch and an afternoon snack are included. Sign up by February 28th to receive up to $300 off camp with early bird discounts.</p>
