F.A.M. (Family Art Magic): Celebration
In the Brooklyn Museums’s Family Art Magic classes, the magic word is collaboration. Children ages 4-6 and their adult companions can explore together to discover the world through art, play fun gallery games, and create their own masterpieces in the studio. In the winter classes, attendees are exploring the Museum through lenses of art and community. This week, the theme is “celebration.” The class will visit works in Soul of a Nation: Art in the Age of Black Power and Half the Picture: A Feminist Look at the Collection, then celebrate with their very own parade. Classes run from 11am–12:15pm and 1:30–2:45pm.
