MakeInspires
About Us
MakeInspires is where curiosity becomes passion — STEAM makerspaces for kids K–12 serving the New York metro area since 2011.
MakeInspires is a STEAM education company with five makerspace locations across Westchester, New York City, and Connecticut. Founded in 2011, MakeInspires serves students in kindergarten through twelfth grade with a strong focus on elementary and middle school learners.
After-School Programs meet weekly throughout the school year, giving kids a structured, hands-on environment to explore coding, robotics, 3D printing, electronics, and more. Each semester builds skills progressively while keeping learning fun and engaging.
Summer Camps run throughout the summer and offer week-long, themed STEAM experiences for kids who want to dive deep into making, building, and creating. Campers leave with real projects and newfound confidence.
Workshops & Events are drop-in or single-session experiences perfect for trying something new. Topics range from circuit builds and lava lamps to Minecraft and DIY electric vehicles.
Birthday Parties are a MakeInspires specialty — 1 hour and 45 minutes of hands-on STEAM fun, pizza, and celebration for kids ages 5–14. Choose from popular themes or create a fully custom experience.
All programs are hosted at makerspace locations in Chappaqua, Mamaroneck, Darien, the Upper East Side, and Brooklyn, with select programs available off-site.
