BAX empowers young artists from tots to teens to tell their own stories and develop their skills in dance, theater, and tumbling. At BAX, students develop improvisational, compositional, and performance skills while working both independently and with collaborators.
Experience self-liberation and joy through Movement of the Afro Diaspora. Discuss and dismantle gender archetypes and learn about drag performance’s rich cultural history and roots in queer performance traditions. And for tots, discover the concepts of body, space, shape, and time while cultivating individual expression using imagery, music, stories, and props in Creative Movement classes.
BAX offers school breaks programming for President's week, spring break, and summer in addition to year-round classes.
There’s something for everyone at BAX!
