Center for Performing Arts and Dance NYC

Founded in 2021 by dancer and educator Nina Sekhand, The Center for Performing Arts and Dance (CPAD NYC) is a proudly woman-owned creative hub in the heart of Flatiron. We believe after school should be more than just a place to pass the time, it should be a space where kids thrive, explore, and discover who they are.

Our classes offer a rich mix of classes for children ages 1–13, including ballet, hip-hop, musical theater, visual arts, STEM, gymnastics, chess, piano, fashion design and so much more. What makes CPAD different? Every class is taught by passionate, professional instructors, many of whom are active performers, artists, and educators ensuring your child learns from true experts. We also believe giving back is important as we partner with several local schools to make after-school access easy for families and connect with our community to give back and inspire.
