Need some help designing your weekend? The 3-day BKLYN DESIGNS Expo, opening tomorrow in DUMBO, will feature over 40 furniture and accessory designers. Held at St. Ann’s Warehouse at 38 Water Street, the expo is NYC’s premier exhibition of designers and manufacturers of furnishings and accessories made or designed in Brooklyn, and this year’s theme is baby and children’s furniture (the show will even feature an interactive BKLYN DESIGNS Kids Lounge!).
Plus, on Sunday (Mother’s Day), families can walk from the show over to Pier 1 in the newly opened Brooklyn Bridge Park for a "Spring Fling" featuring concerts, book readings and drawing demos, arts and crafts, and yoga!
