The US Open has 80 sought-after positions as ballpersons up for grabs. Tryouts are being held on Thursday June 24 at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, NY. US Open officials are looking for kids ages 14 and older and will be evaluating prospective ballpersons on their running, throwing and catching skills. Polo Ralph Lauren will again be the official outfitter of the US Open ballperson’s uniform. Registration starts at 3:00 p.m. and the tryouts will begin at 4:00 p.m. for the coolest summer job in sports.
