Bowlers of all skill levels can bowl a strike to feed hundreds of hungry Americans this holiday season.
Bowlmor AMF has teamed up with Feeding America for its third annual Jingle Bowl from December 18 to January 3. If you bowl a strike at any Bowlmor AMF location, $1 will be donated to Feeding America.
The ultimate goal is to raise $25,000 for Feeding America, which is equivalent to 275,000 meals, according to a statement. Bowlmor AMF will also be offering a student pass for kids to play one free game per day.
“Jingle Bowl is a time that we promote since kids are off from school, where families can get together to do an activity that everyone can enjoy, regardless of age,” Samantha Bevacqua, marketing manager of Bowlmor AMF, said. “With so much hunger across the U.S., we thought it would be a great tie-in to help support people who are struggling during the holiday period.”
This is the second year that Feeding America has teamed up with Bowlmor AMF. Families who visit any Bowlmor location may also enter a code on their receipt sweepstakes to win a family vacation worth $5,000.
Bowlmor AMF has locations in Times Square, Chelsea Piers, Melville, and White Plains.
