Rejoice, New York City soccer fans! If you’re looking to fill the void after the Women’s World Cup, there are three local teams you can cheer on–with the newest, the New York City FC, starting its first season this spring. New York City Football Club

New York City FC, which debuted this past spring the first Major League Soccer team in the city, plays home games in Yankee Stadium. What’s more, tickets are very affordable,with single game tickets starting at $25. Upcoming games include a rivalry match against the Red Bulls on August 9 at the Red Bull Arena; a DC United game on August 13 at Yankee Stadium; and an August 29 match against Columbus Crew SC. nycfc.com

The New York Cosmos

With a North American Soccer League Spring Championship under its belt, the New York Cosmos play home games at Hofstra University’s James M. Shuart Stadium. The club recently announced, along with 19 other founding soccer clubs from the New York Metropolitan area, the launch of its Academy Affiliate Program, which  identifies local talent and gives young players the opportunity to play for the team’s academy. Families can purchase family four-packs for individual games, which start at just $68 and include a $20 concession credit. Upcoming home games include an August 2 match against the Fort Lauderdale Strikers; an August 5 game against Minnesota United FC; and an August 15 match against the San Antonio Scorpions. nycosmos.com

New York Red Bulls

The New York Red Bulls, based in Harrison, New Jersey, compete in the Eastern Conference of Major League Soccer. Shaun Wright-Phillips, a decorated English soccer player, just signed onto play for the Bulls, where he’ll join his younger brother Bradley. A Friens and Family Four-Pack $99 or $144, depending on how close to the action you want to be, and includes four $5 concession vouchers. Treehouse Shakers

<div>Treehouse Shakers’ Branching OUT After-School program is for ages 12-14. This awarded program is for young people who identify as LGBTQIA+, or are seeking to become better allies. Branching OUT centers on discovering and exploring one’s story and identity through an intentionally artist-led format. During our community-based program, young people will explore and reflect on their own story to create a larger, more meaningful experience, while gaining self-empowerment and gathering with like-minded peers. Through the guidance of our awarded teaching artists, young people will create narratives that will be turned into podcasts, dances, songs or poetry. </div> <div> </div> <div>Young people have the opportunity to learn new art forms, work with professional artists, while building a meaningful community.</div>
