You’ll see the JPMA Certification Seal (pictured here) on more than 2,000 products in 24 product categories. But what does it mean? The seal signifies the highest level of established product testing and ensures adherence to the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) standards, federal and state laws, as well as some retail requirements. Each product is sample tested at an independent laboratory to guarantee it meets the highest safety standards. These standards, as developed with input from engineers, manufacturers, consumer advocates, and consultants, ensure the safety of products that the US consumer population has come to rely on.
