Weekend Planner: November 12-14

This weekend has tons of great offerings for families — no matter where you are, what you’re kids are interested in or what you feel like doing, there is an event for every family in the city! Got a Hogwarts fan at home? Check out the Harry Potter extravaganza at the Scholastic Store, or the live Quidditch match in Hells Kitchen. Feel like having fun for a great cause? HelpUsAdopt.org is throwing its first annual family fun day at Gymtime Rhythm & Glues and the Double H Ranch, an organization that provides specialized programs and year-long support for children with life-threatening diseases, is hosting a day of fun at the Bronx Zoo.

There’s also hands-on family fun to be had at the Jewish Museum and Guggenheim Museum, the spectacularly sweet Chocolate Show in Chelsea and the amazing "Canstruction" exhibit at the World Financial Center. Click here for all of this weekend’s great family offerings!

If you’re already planning ahead to the summer and looking into summer camps for your kids, check out our camp fairs, which are co-sponsored by the American Camp Association and begin this weekend on the Upper East Side (Saturday) and Upper West Side (Sunday).
