Applause New York 20th Anniversary Gala
Applause New York, one of the city’s premiere programs for the performing arts–for all kids ages 0-18, from babies just starting to explore movement to teenagers getting serious about their passions in the arts–is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a fabulous gala this Friday! "Robin Hood" at the Galli Theater
Robin Hood steals from the rich and gives to the poor, and when King Goldnose begins collecting taxes from village residents, Robin Hood hinders his plans. This interactive show takes audiences to Sherwood Forest where Robin Hood tries to right the wrongs of the greedy and restore hope in the hearts of many. Björk Exhibit at the Museum of Modern Art
This month, check out the Museum of Modern Art’s retrospective of Björk, the singer, composer, and producer, which draws from her eight full-length albums as well as her collaborations with artists, directors, photographers, and musicians. The exhibit will also include a brand-new immersive music and film experience commissioned by the museum, which alongside instruments, a theatrical presentation, photography, and video, will tell the story of Björk’s music and creativity in an incredible display.
