The Business Of Parenting

We have a
skewed vantage as family magazine editors, but we’re continually impressed by
the myriad creative ways NYC parents turn their passion for parenthood into
full-fledged business. Take the two moms friends who started a wonderful gift
website.
Or the two families (both with twins) who created a flourishing
activities center.
Other favorites are the mom who created an ultimate
car seat cover and other stroller accessories,
and the husband-and-wife team
behind this amazing baby products company, which now makes everything from
diaper bags to bedding.
We’re tempted to consider the three friends who make up Moms And The City, as part of this trend as well. We could go on and on, but we’ve put together
this short list for your interest and your inspiration. (Let us know if
you come up with any good ideas.)
