As many local moms and dads have told us, there is a need for smart, simple and accessible information for people beginning the journey to parenthood. New York Family Baby, a newsletter that comes out on Fridays,
provides expectant and new parents (with children up to toddler age) with a lively
mix of news, tips, classes, shopping and musings.

The debut newsletter
offered a spectacular babymoon giveaway at the Plaza Hotel, a website where you
can shop by celebrity, an article on how to avoid parental burnout and a post
on cribs we love.

The second newsletter featured a musing on
whether expensive nannies are better, a timeline for thinking about nursery
school admissions, an unbelievable giveaway of Skip Hop’s new bedding
collection and tips on traveling with a toddler.
