Sponsored Scoop: Drake Bennett Summer Schools

Academic Skill-Building Summer Camp!

By New York Family

New_York_Summer_Schools_400w-300x225This is Drake Bennett Summer Schools’ ninth summer of academic support and enrichment. The 1st-6th Grade Academic Summer Camp is run like a small-town high school. All teachers are inspired and perpetually cheerful single-subject specialists. As they will in high school, the kids rotate to six different teachers every day. The camp offers an enrichment track for thriving students and an Orton-based support track for kids who are just as smart, but have some catching-up to do.

LOCATIONS:

The Epiphany School (July 7-August 1) is an historic building on 28th Street between 3rd and Lexington, in the Murray Hill section of Manhattan, with a charming shaded playground in the back and on-site gym.

The Park Slope Jewish Center (August 4-29) is a Brooklyn landmark on 8th Avenue at the corner of 14th Street. Just one block from Prospect Park, we’ll have grass under our feet two hours a day for August recesses and sports programs.
