Noted chef Barton Seaver, a leader in the sustainable foods movement and a National Geographic Fellow, has partnered with the company to publish his first book for junior chefs: National Geographic Kids Cookbook: A Year-Round Fun Food Adventure.
Broken down chronologically by month, the book offers recipes (and crafts!) that tie into the seasons and holidays, along with fun facts and trivia and ways to go green. Though the book is aimed at ages 8–12, the recipes aren’t just for kids.
With dishes like West African mafe, Italian asparagus with Parmesan, and roasted lemony chicken breasts, Seaver offers dishes for all the members of the family. kids.nationalgeographic.com
