An Artist Remembers: Hanukkah Lamps Selected by Maurice Sendak
At The Jewish Museum

Iconic children's author and illustrator Maurice Sendak (of Where The Wild Things Are) selected his favorite menorahs from The Jewish Museum archives for this special exhibit honoring Hanukkah. Check out this remarkable collection of Hanukkah lamps before it's too late!

The Children's Museum of Manhattan invites kids under the age of 4 to create a shiny candle collage using sparkling glitter and metallic paper. Oo la la!

Poppy Seed Players: Latkes & Applesauce At Merkin Concert Hall

Latkes & Applesauce is guaranteed to be the Poppy Seed Player's most hilarious holiday production to date. With a Hanukkah version of A Christmas Carol and a skit parodying "American Idol," this show will leave the whole family in stiches.

Learn about the life of Emma Lazarus and the creation of the Statue of Liberty this Hanukkah, at the Museum of Jewish Heritage, which will screen films such as An American Tail and Ghostbusters II.

The Macaroons In Concert At The Jewish Museum

The Macaroons will take the stage at the Jewish Museum for three special Hanukkah performances! Children ages 5 and up will enjoy hits like "Hurry Up and Light the Candle," "Mezuzah" and "Billy Bagel."

This Hanukkah, take the family to a klezmer music concert. Clarinetist Greg Wall and his band Klezmerfest, will introduce kids to the Yiddish music of the Eastern European Jewry at the Museum at Eldridge Street. An audience-enacted shtetl wedding will conclude the afternoon's entertainment.
